Back when that round of updates came out to implement the Windows 10 update scheme, I dutifully removed them and hid them. Now I'm curious to see how it all works, so I went to unhide and update again. All of the updates that I'd hidden were there, except 3035583 - it seems to have vanished!

I went to the MS site, but it seems the only way they make it available is through WU. Does anyone know of a standalone file I can download? Might it still be on my system somewhere? Or is there some way I can cajole WU to find it again?

    TIA...
I grabbed a direct d/l link (x64) from Windows Update log:

    HTH :)

That's what I was looking for! I searched microsoft.com and didn't find it there - now I know about windowsupdate.com.

In any case, I got the icon, and I now have my copy 'reserved'. Thank you very much! :)

I have exactly the same issue. When the KB3035583 came out I hid it, along with some other Win10 updates. Now I go back and this update is gone, but the other ones stayed. So basically I can't unhide it to make it pop up in the updates list. I unhide the other updates and installed them, but that didn't help.

I checked the list GokAy posted and I have all of them (for Win7) except KB3035583.

It's frustrating because it's most likely MS's fault, they changed priority on that update and that probably made it disappear but at the same time it's not showing up in the updates list.
The download link posted by Urthboundmisfit worked for me - I installed it, and after rebooting, the little icon showed up and I was able to 'reserve' my copy of Windows 10.

I'm glad it helped, I reserved my copy but am still undecided whether I'll actually install it... I may wait about a month & see what the consensus is, bugs get worked out, etc.

I've been dual-booting it with Win7 ever since the first build was made public, and every build since. IMO they have a lot of work to do in the next couple of months. I'll probably do a clean install with the final version on a separate partition and test drive it for a while before I let it upgrade my Win7 installation. In any case, you can't beat the price!

@ Urthboundmisfit Thanks a lot! Windows doesn't let me install it though -weird. Guess I'll have to wait for the system to automatically get it then
