    The first is for 32bit (x86) and the second is for 64bit (x64)... I see by your specs you're running 64 bit so you'd only need the second (x64).

    BTW, you're welcome!

    For those who run into problems installing the updates (my windows refused to install it), simply create a file named

    something.bat with the following content:

    Code:
    REG QUERY "HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\AppCompatFlags\UpgradeExperienceIndicators" /v UpgEx | findstr UpgEx

    if "%errorlevel%" == "0" GOTO RunGWX

    reg add "HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\AppCompatFlags\Appraiser" /v UtcOnetimeSend /t REG_DWORD /d 1 /f

    schtasks /run /TN "\Microsoft\Windows\Application Experience\Microsoft Compatibility Appraiser"

    :CompatCheckRunning

    schtasks /query /TN "\Microsoft\Windows\Application Experience\Microsoft Compatibility Appraiser"

    schtasks /query /TN "\Microsoft\Windows\Application Experience\Microsoft Compatibility Appraiser" | findstr Ready

    if NOT "%errorlevel%" == "0" ping localhost >nul &goto :CompatCheckRunning

    :RunGWX

    schtasks /run /TN "\Microsoft\Windows\Setup\gwx\refreshgwxconfig"

    pause
    Run as administrator and the win10 app will apear.
    I did everything related to the cmd and i always get the problem"ERROR:The network address is invalid".Could anyone help me please?

    I still didn't have any icons, but the update as been downloaded as windowsupdate.log indicate

    2015-06-07 11:41:47:381 868 8c4 DnldMgr * Downloading from http://fg.v4.download.windowsupdate....71f8f58b6a.cab to C:\Windows\SoftwareDistribution\Download\e631d03fb3d2f2b86af4f5702cca58d1\b3979a4511e1cf1ddb9ce04a3f 55fa71f8f58b6a (full file).
    2015-06-07 11:41:47:740 868 6d4 DnldMgr BITS job {12F92297-5D7F-4BDD-9B42-5694A525E62E} completed successfully
    BTW, a Microsoft's MVP, on the support-forum told me:

    There is no need to "reserve" anything. It is merely marketing on the part of MS to "encourage" users to upgrade
    So I guess, it's useless

    Start a NEW thread of your own, and

    Please follow the Windows Update Posting Instructions and post the requested data

    If the file is too large (8MB compressed), remove the older CBSPersist cab files until the final file is below the limit - you can always post them separately after zipping them. (the forum doesn't allow the upload of bare CAB files, for a number of reasons)

    Please also post the C:\Windows\windowsudpate.log file

    Back when that round of updates came out to implement the Windows 10 update scheme, I dutifully removed them and hid them. Now I'm curious to see how it all works, so I went to unhide and update again. All of the updates that I'd hidden were there, except 3035583 - it seems to have vanished!

    I went to the MS site, but it seems the only way they make it available is through WU. Does anyone know of a standalone file I can download? Might it still be on my system somewhere? Or is there some way I can cajole WU to find it again?

    TIA...
    I grabbed a direct d/l link (x64) from Windows Update log:

    Dunno about your "not compatible" issue, it's either one or the other.
