Unable to update Windows 7 Service Pack 1 (Error code 800B0100)

I keep getting this error every time I try to install update Windows Service Pack 1 (KB976932) on my poor PC. Ran SURT & scf /scannow (integrity error fixed). Here are the log files: Attachment 361175
    DxDiag: DxDiag.txt

Please excuse my ignorance & Thanks!

Here's the summary from the CheckSUR scan...

This looks to me like an attempt to bypass activation and validation requirements...

We need to see a full copy of the report produced by the MGADiag tool
(download and save to desktop - http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?linkid=52012 )
    Once saved, run the tool.
Click on the Continue button, which will produce the report.
To copy the report to your response, click on the Copy button in the tool (ignore any error messages at this point), and then paste (using either r-click/Paste, or Ctrl+V ) into your response.x
    - in your own thread, please

Please also state the Version and Edition of Windows quoted on your COA sticker (if you have one) on the case of your machine (or inside the battery compartment), but do NOT quote the Key on the sticker!

That looks OK - although without the COA sticker, I'd have declared it almost certainly nongenuine!

Strange that there's no error there for the WAT update, though.

    See what this does...
    Close all open windows.
Open an Elevated Command Prompt window, and type the following command

    wusa /uninstall /kb:971033

    and hit the Enter key
Accept the warnings/confirmations, and wait for it to complete

copy and paste the output (if any) from the command prompt window to a reply here,
    Reboot

    reinstall the update from http://support.microsoft.com/kb/971033
    Reboot

run another MGADiag report, and post it.
Run another SFC /SCANNOW and post the CBS.log file.

Could you please add what power supply and motherboard you have on this system to your System Specs.

This will help except the power supply.

Looks like we'll have to repair the WAT installation, then :)

I'll post a fix protocol later.

    ....
    I've uploaded a file - mbnaa.zip - to my OneDrive at Noel's OneDrive
    Please download and save it.
Right-click on the downloaded file, and select Extract all…
Extract to the default location - which will create a new folder mbnaa in the same place.
Open this folder - there should be one folder inside it (Packages)

Copy the content of the Packages folder to the folder
    C:\Windows\Temp\CheckSur\Servicing\Packages

Now run the CheckSUR tool again (it may take a while)

Post the new CheckSUR.log file, and the CheckSUR.persist.log file.
