windows update keeps wanting to install the same two updates

my windows 7 pro system keeps telling me at shutdown that it has updates to install. on inspection, the same 2 updates, KB2882822 and KB3045999 are installing successfully to the tune of 11 times on 2882822 & 22 times 3045999!!!!! I can install these updates & check for updates and they come right back up again!

any ideas as to why this is happening?????

If thefile is too large (8MB compressed), remove the older CBSPersist cab files untilthe final file is below the limit - you can always post them separately afterzipping them. (the forum doesn't allow the upload of bare CAB files, for anumber of reasons)

Pleasealso post the C:\Windows\windowsudpate.log file
