That's what I was looking for

The whole report looks good now, and you should no longer be seeing non-genuine notifications.

It sounds to me as if there is something getting in the way of your Software Protection Service - most likely it's ASC.
I really do think you'd be better off uninstalling it completely and installing MSE. I see too many problems relating to ASC products - mostly the Registry destroyer Cleaner to be confident that they have any idea what a computer looks like!

Ok I just went the extra mile and uninstalled all my IOBit utilities. I only like to give support to products I think I can trust and they've lost that.
I'll post again if something else crops up. Thanks for all your help.

Now... if I can figure out why my desktop doesn't show unless I restart Explorer (yea that might fall under 'why didn't you say something?' but it's a problem that's been around for a couple of weeks and I was just working around it while I looked for the problem).

Although many people decry Iobit Products, i Have used and still do use them.
Like most optimiser programmes "the one click cures all" is what causes most problems.
Users DO need to be aware that they should NOT ever effect any registry changes.

However as you are running ASCU (which you have paid for) just dissable or not use all of the other functions. The AV is based on a >>licensed<< copy of Bitdefender which actually comes out quite well within AV tests.

What very few people seem to know is that Iobit is actually run/owned by a couple of Americans.

While it's true I never had a problem until recently (my aformentioned problem with explorer on boot up seems to have disappeared as well), something affecting me this drastically tends to make me gun-shy on the whole product.

Iobit is not - so far As I am aware - owned by Americans but by Chinese. Check the ownership of their website.

MSE has an AV component, from what I see. How's it rated as an AV, anti-spyware and as a Firewall?

Such registrations always ring alarm bells!

    Nice report Noel.

I don't know who is brothers and who isn't and I don't care.

IObits is a chop stick company trying to hide that fact.
After installing and removing a IObit product I would highly recommend changing all password ect. from another computer that is know to be clean.

What I do know by reading lots of threads, IObit products screws up computers. Many of member have to do a Clean Install just to fix all the problems IObit products cause. ASC is probably the worse.
Even if you remove ASC it doesn't fix the damage or changes it has already made.

This is another reputation buster for IObits.
