Error 0x8004fe22: "Copy of Windows not genuine"

I've read a few threads, running CHKDSK C: /R and SFC /SCANNOW as suggested for other issues. No errors stuck their heads up. I ran some other things that I'm honestly too tired to remember but even when it seemed the validation was fixed it would come back.
Even now when the poppup occurs, in my system info it tells me Windows is activated.

So I figured instead of continuing to try out random fixes I'd post my info and have more knowledgeable eyes take a look.

    Hi Tactical,
I see your running ASC 8.1 as your AV, are you sure
    ASCU is the AV option.
If you are running either version have you run the registry clean-up/optimise option.
IF you have please go back into it and use the restore function, and see if the Non Genuine problem is still present.

    Good eye torchwood.
ASC is a IObit product which means it's doing nothing but cause problems.

Restore Point might solve the problem if Tactical Z is very, very, very lucky.

Normally IObit products screws that up too.

Even when one removes IObit products from the computer the damage has already been done.

Well that's unfortunate to hear. I was using ASCU as the AV, and the reg fix option was checked the last time I used it.

Is there any way to find out what is causing my auth issue and if there is a way to fix it? I went ahead and used the undo feature, whether or not that helps or hurts remains to be seen. The auth error sometimes takes a few hours to pop up.

If the registry is damaged is there a way to fix it?

Oh, and what's the relationship between the AV and reg utilities, since you mentioned both?

It's almost certainly the cause of your problem - ASC is one of the commonest causes of this error message.

To confirm that the problem is what I think it is, please run the following commands in an Elevated Command Prompt window and post the results.

    REG QUERY HKLM\SOFTWARE\Classes\Wow6432Node\TypeLib\{EE574957-4077-4AD6-8658-327C2C86C5AA} /S
    REG QUERY HKLM\SOFTWARE\Classes\TypeLib\{EE574957-4077-4AD6-8658-327C2C86C5AA} /S
    REG QUERY HKLM\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Classes\TypeLib\{EE574957-4077-4AD6-8658-327C2C86C5AA} /S

Here are some instructions to make life easier :)
    1) To open an Elevated Command Prompt Window (the ECP window), click on Start, All Programs, Accessories – then right-click on Command Prompt, and select Run as Administrator. Accept the UAC prompt.
    2) To run the commands easier, highlight the block of commands, and right-click on the highlight – select Copy. In the CP Window, click on the black/white icon at top left – select Paste. The commands will run but may not complete the last command, so hit the Enter Key once.
    3) To copy the results... click on the Black/White icon in the top left, and select Edit... 'Select All', and hit the Enter key - then use Ctrl+V or r-click+Paste to paste it into your response.

Those entries look normal enough - please post a new MGADiag report, as it may have changed after you ran the Undo script from ASC

That's pretty good - it just needs a minor correction...
Using Internet Explorer, go to Genuine Microsoft Software and attempt validation (it should pass) and clear the remaining error, getting rid of the notifications.

reboot, then do another MGADiag report and post that.

This is what I get (the second time, first time said the service wasn't available).

Windows could not be validated as genuine

The validation service couldn't determine whether the copy of Windows that is running on your computer is genuine. Please try to validate Windows again. If you keep getting validation errors, try to again later or contact support.

I tried the validate Windows again option and it took me to a Welcome to Windows sales page lol. Took a moment to see the comment "Because Windows installed on your PC is genuine"

    Here's the reboot MGA:
