Windows 7 64 Dell Inspiron N4030 Updating not Genuine

Ok tried the best title i could think of to summarize the problem. I'm working on a family members laptop for them to get their laptop up to date on windows and maybe upgrade to windows 10. But the update keeps failing the troubleshooter fails chkdsk and sfc /scannow do not help. I can not install the updates manually i get the error error_sxs_component_store_corrupt and in windows updater i get 80073712 error.

To top it off i occasionally am getting a pop up on her laptop stating that her windows is not genuine. Although it is the same os that came installed on her laptop. She has very little knowledge of using any type of pc's so do not think she has ever updated this before me. She did not even have an antivirus on it until i installed Avira for her.

I updated her laptop before and got them all to install but a few. The ones left are kb2977759 kb3004469 kb306480 and finally kb976932. It says that kb2538242 and kb2538243 are installed and windows updates when i shutdown and they do not show under updates when i cold boot but when updater fails to complete they pop back in under updates.

I am hoping and praying some one here can help me sort it out for her i'm on day 4 of trying to get this done and ready to pull my hair out. Thanks in advance for any help you can offer.

From the looks of it, this machine doesn't even have Service Pack 1 installed
The CBS.log implies that SP1 is attempting to install on every reboot - and that there may be problems with the 'genuineness' of the system anyhow...
I don't, however, see any signs of any SFC having been run (although from what I do see, it's possible that it won't run anyhow)

Please follow this tutorial and post an MGADiag report - then we may be able to see what the problem is.

Windows Genuine and Activation Issue Posting Instructions

Ignore errors produced when clicking on the Copy button - they simply mean that the tool could not create the backup files for some reason. The data is still copied to the clipboard for pasting to your response.

Please also state the Version and Edition of Windows quoted on your COA sticker (if you have one) on the case of your machine (or inside the battery compartment), but do NOT quote the Key on the sticker!

Windows version windows 7 home 64bit either oa or 0a. Like i said before i do not think she did anything with this except perhaps facebook and facebook games and saving pics and such. So it took me a long time to get her laptop updated this far lol. I know usually when a key is not genuine you have the option to change it via properties under computer but hers says activated and has no such option.

This may simply be caused by a bad set of Intel Rapid Storage Technology drivers -

Installing the Intel Rapid Storage Drivers
try downloading and installing them from here - https://downloadcenter.intel.com/Det...&DwnldID=22194

    (you want the iata_enu.exe download)

Once complete, please reboot twice, then post another MGADiag report.

    Did the drivers install OK?

    If so, then try this...
Please run the following commands in an Elevated Command Prompt

    NET STOP CRYPTSVC
    REN C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\CATROOT2 CATROOT2OLD
    NET START CRYPTSVC

once complete, leave the system alone for at least an hour to rebuild the database, then reboot, and run another MGADiag report and post the results.

That report looks fine to me
You can check validation using Internet Explorer at Windows could not be validated as genuine - Microsoft Windows - and you shouldn't be seeing non-genuine notifications any more

Ok awesome but now how do i get it to update? i click update it hangs there then says its downloading then installing then errors out. Getting errors code 643 and code 80073712. After i shutdown then cold boot but while shutting down it says installing updates 3 of them and it installs these 3 every time but in like a loop as next time i shut down it says updating the 3 files again.

i tried fixit from windows site but it did not fix it lol
