    Component store corrupt

Hi, I have a similar problem. In my case the manifest files:
    wow64_microsoft-windows-installer-engine_31bf3856ad364e35_6.1.7601.18637_none_6be27a10fe92a5ec.manifest
    wow64_microsoft-windows-installer-engine_31bf3856ad364e35_6.1.7601.22843_none_6c5d47ae17bbf972.manifest
    are empty.
So I could find in the cbs.log the following error entries:
2015-09-22 19:14:44, Error CSI 000001fb (F) Unable to load manifest for component [ml:280{140},l:188{94}]"wow64_microsoft-windows-installer-engine_31bf3856ad364e35_6.1.7601.18637_none_6be27a10fe92a5ec"[gle=0x80004005]

I allready looked in the install.wim from my originally installation dvd for the manifests, but there is only a manifest file named:
    wow64_microsoft-windows-installer-engine_31bf3856ad364e35_6.1.7601.17514_none_6bf52decfe850b3d.manifest
    in it.
Where could I get the corrupt files and what could be the reason for the corruption?
    Best regards. Roland

Please post the full scan logs...
Please follow the Windows Update Posting Instructions and post the requested data

If the file is too large (8MB compressed), remove the older CBSPersist cab files until the final file is below the limit - you can always post them separately after zipping them. (the forum doesn't allow the upload of bare CAB files, for a number of reasons)

Please also post the C:\Windows\windowsudpate.log file

    Hi all,
thank you for your replies. I now found out, what the empty files belong to. They came probably with the windows update 'Windows6.1-KB3008627-x64'. So I had a good plan: Uninstall that update and reinstall it. But it is not possible to uninstall the update due to an error.
The error-message from the windows installation log is:
    Das Windows-Update konnte aufgrund eines Fehlers nicht installiert werden: 2359302 "" (Befehlszeile: ""C:\Windows\system32\wusa.exe" "N:\Eigene Dateien\Roland\Eigene Dateien\D_Daten\Software\Windows\Win7\Windows6.1-KB3008627-x64.msu" ")

I also tried to remove/overwrite (as administrator) the corrupted files in the manifests folder but I got the error 'Access denied'.

So my question: how can I replace the currupted files?

    Best regards. Roland

You can boot from the dvd and use the cmd.exe from there to copy over the files. The command syntax would be
    Copy filename destinationfolder
The dvd usually switches around the drive letters. To check for the drive letters, in the command window type diskpart, hit enter, and then type list volume

This was a very great help! I did it like garegin discribed and it works. So thank you very much at all.
The corrupt files are part of an Windows Update. So they are not part of the original Windows 7 installation dvd. After a search by google I could find out to what Update the files are belonging to. The files could be extracted using 7zip. Afterwards I could overwrite the corrupted files and now I'm happy.
    Best regards. Roland
