Windows update KB2758694 - is this a good one?

I restarted from scratch last month my Dell Precision Workstation notebook M4800 with Win 7 Pro 64 bit. I've always in the past just accepted Microsofts' updates automatically. I'm now delighted to have learned (much of it from this forum) of the benefits to examining each and every update before installing it. I've installed all now that appear to be "good" updates and it's a pleasure to no longer be nagged to upgrade to Windows 10 (or 8, as I had been for way too long). Yesterday, all of a sudden out of the blue, I had update #KB2758694 show up as an important update. It is apparently a couple years old and I'm just now receiving it.

When I searched for information about it on this forum I got conflicting information - enough for me to ask you wiser heads about it. What can you recommend about KB2758694?

Also, FYI, I've attached a listing I generated (mostly from information I gleaned from this forum) of what appear to be considered "bad" updates. I'd welcome input about my list - have I put updates on that list that leave me exposed to some horrible dangers? If so, please let me know!

Thanks in advance, Patrick

Thank you wben353,

That list considerably expands my list of "bad" updates. I see I already had 7 of them on the list I attached to my post, but I'm glad to get more.

Do I just run that batch file from a command line in Win7?

Regards, Patrick

Nope, double click file will autorun
You could also right-click and click open.
If the KB isn't installed it will just continue.
You can open it and look at commands right-click select>edit.
As the batch file runs you will also see the commands as they execute.

Does anybody know of a good music player that has a good Equalizer? IMO, the equalizer sucks for WMP 11, realplayer free, and my sound card. I like the PowerAMP app for my android, the equalizer has a sick bass. but it's not available on pc.

Has a Windows 7 update removed good features?
I installed Windows 7 and have been generally impressed and pleased with the changes. I don't know about the technical aspects, so such things as the ability to 'snap' windows into certain sizes and the new task bar previews are the main focus of such positive comments. HOWEVER... Unless I...
