Windows 7: Windows 7 refuse to download SP1

Win 7 x64 Home Premium (and x86 VirtualBox VM)/Win10
 
 

The SP1 download is NOT 4.1 GB (that's the multi-language, two-version download for techies only) - which is actually larger than the full install of Win7!

If you get the appropriate download from here...
https://www.microsoft.com/en-gb/down...s.aspx?id=5842 then you have the option of either the 32-bit or 64-bt downloads - at 538MB or 903MB respectively.

Thanks Noel, add 50 times trying to get it of an sd card someone did for me too, not far off getting a hole through it!

Windows can't fix Windows, please explain?

Well I tried that download and same deal, it stops about half way and goes no further. There must be a clue there?
