Windows 7: Manually install SP1?

Yeah, it's very hit and miss lately.
Testing various VM installs at different times of the day, I've noticed if I do a search in the morning the updates appear a lot faster than if I did a search in the evening.
But I'm in England so it may differ somewhat for you guys in the U.S.
Sometimes they are ridiculously slow.
But I've still noticed an improvement with that KB installed.
