Updates Not Installing

    Updates Not Installing

    Running Windows 7 Pro x64 SP1

    After a fresh install (SP1 bundled) last weekend, the system ran the first round of updates (171 of them) and has been trying to install the second round (140-some) ever since. I had to turn updates off because it kept failing to install the updates; it would spend a couple hours installing the updates, then restart with the error message, "Updates failed, reverting changes."

    I have a couple thoughts, but I'm curious what you all think.

    Id install them in blocks of 10, (might show you the problem KB/KB's) leave Netframework till last.
    If you do not use IE run them prior to netframework.
