wuauserv cpu and memory high no error

Hello sevenforums
I have an update issue I can not resolve. I have always manually updated. 12/12/15 I did a partial update and when I went to do the remaining update I got a high cpu and memory during checking for updates. No error just keeps searching. Not trying to upgrade to WX.

I did all troubleshooting Microsoft Answers. Manually updated windows update agent (wuauclt 7.6.7601.19077). I end up resetting with Shawn's Batch file Reset_Windows_Update_Full.

Windows Update - Reset .

It seem to work but when svchost wuauserv started waiting on svchost LocalServiceAndNoImpersonation cpu went 100% and memory 71% and just hung there. Had to stop wuauserv. only one svchost file in sys32.

It seems my cbs.zip 46.4 MB is to large to upload?

Just did the upgrade

Never mind
I just upgraded, it was going to happen, one way or another. Paid for a license, or free. I can update now and cpu and memory are low. Ugly smart phone theme for a desktop but it runs good once apps are uninstalled and those that can't be disabled.

Problem with wuauserv
Hello Forum While investigating why my PC is slow, I opened Task Manager and saw CPU 100 % and memory about 80 %, it was the " wuauserv" service, so I stopped it (I know this prevents updating windows) and CPU went down to normal up to 26 % and programs loaded and acted faster. After a while,...

chkdsk high memory usage / memory leak
Has anyone else noticed that chkdsk uses all available physical memory (if you let it run long enough)? I find that if I run chkdsk and watch the memory usage in task manager it jumps by about 50MB every 2 seconds or so until it either finishes or hits around 3.2GB at which point my physical...

wuauserv causing svchost memory usage to explode
To be honest, I started out investigating the wrong thing. This all started because I would have errors in Chrome. The Aww, Snap or It's Dead Jim errors, etc. Or Chrome would just crash and I would relaunch and restore. I did normal Chrome things like check the shockwave and flash files, disable...

Very high physical memory usage, no high usage programs running
Hello everyone, I've been having a very weird problem recently, in which I BELIEVE is involving high physical memory usage. Sometimes I will be doing things such as playing a game, or watching a stream, and my computer will run fine for a little while. But at random times, my computer will majorly...

Wuauserv and BITS missing - re-install without OS reboot?
Hey everyone! So.. I've got a machine on one of my networks that was victim to a nasty virus a few months back. I cleaned it and verified that it was healthy again and sent it on it's way. Yesterday, our IP was blacklisted for spam suddenly. After checking the logs from the mail service and...
