What else did you do other that just a bios change?
I'm not understanding how all those changes happened with just a bios change.
What ever it was it appears to have worked.

Hmm nothing, normal windows updates, Bios update and video driver update.
My intentions were to try and fix the laptop from not entering hibernation, and just logging out.
