    Hello,
... Microsoft released these January updates for Windows 7:

    [list elided]

And my question is. Are these updates safe and clean without any Microsoft telemetry or Enforcement upgrade W10? Thank you in advance.
Yes, all the above are "clean."

In this post, you'll find them listed along with a note of what they do. I only saw a previously-hidden W10-related update reappear this month as "Recommended" and promptly hid it again.
This seems top go on and on and I am constantly deleting GWX from my HKEYS - they must have people working full time on convoluted updates it beggars belief.
Indeed they do! I was fortunate enough to start hiding all the W10 Upgrade related, Telemetry and WUC updates early on. So, my W7 machine is clean.

If you're not so lucky, I'd advice giving GWX Control Panel a try... it's good stuff.

Thanks Jelson mate I just found yet another GWX and it did not delete so I installed that disable batch file again and the n it deleted so I think I have found the answer to getting rid of the rotten thing.

By the way this is being posted via my Linux Mint MATE boot If I can get used to the slightly "different" set up I think I will b using it a lot more too
