All of them are supposed to abide by this setting

That is supposed to be the case
I prefer to skip them personally I'm not needing any enhancements in that area

Otherwise these above are all either Optional or Recommended updates which does not necessarily mean they should be installed.

Note: Media Center tweak is at your discretion. Personally I keep media center disabled anyway.
