Are Microsoft Security Updates Really Necessary?

    I hope I'm not off subject.

    I install Security Updates using Windows 7 Updates.

    I will not recommend one way or the other.
    Do as you please.

    Can i delete all my MS security updates? If so do i have to delete them individually? Will i hurt the registry?
