Moving Install From One Computer To Another?

    I have 2 computers:

    Computer A - Dell Optiplex 9020
    Computer B - Custom Build

I need to swap the Windows 7 install from Computer A to computer B(needs to be done for business purposes). My question becomes, since Windows is activated on the Dell, with a Dell COA, will moving it to a custom built computer mess with the activation? How will that work?

Windows OOBE (out of box experience) is set to notice 3(?) h/w changes @ startup within a certain time frame. M/b's, optical drives, nic's etc ... all have unique identifiers, 2 same brand same model dvd burners will have 2 different Identifiers and windows will pick up on these changes. It doesn't sound like you are using a Corporate version of windows. Windows will let you know you have to re-register it and you can call M$ and if your story is good you can jump through a few hoops and land on your feet, maybe.

If it is an OEM license, it cannot be transferred. I will not activate.
