Windows 10 Download Location

Been thinking about this upgrade thing for months now I have decided I will push to Windows 10 in June.

But there's a problem, My main partition (C only have 3.09GB out of 38.9GB left of hard drive space so I am worried that the download will not start.

Is there a way to change the download location to my other partition?

You main problem is not the download wont start, but that you need at least 8GB of free space to perform the upgrade.

I guess you are talking about the windows update download?

I don't think you can change that, I would just skip that process and download the ISO to where you want using the first method here,

Yes, I'm talking about that.

Well it seems that there's no other way but to directly download the ISO from MS's website.

I'm marking this thread as solved. Thanks everyone!

You're welcome, I think it's better that way myself, you're in control of the whole process instead of Windows Update.

IE9 - when downloading can't change download location
Hi all I'm struggling with IE9 -- don't really like what I've seen so far 1) needs a registry fix to enable menu bars which IMO is a bit of b/s since when this is rolled out to users I'm sure most companies won't let users run registry changing programs or scripts and users especially if they...

Hi guys :) I'll post this in here because I don't think it really qualifies as a "problem" for Browsers and Mail. Basically, I have recently got into Modding (The Sims 3 if your interested). and find myself downloading all sorts of stuff from all over the place for various things. As you can...
