    Windows 7 64 bit saying Not Genunie but bought from Dell


    Okay, after going into mail.aol.com for someone's account,

    a virus or something landed on this computer ? installed like 8 different bloatware software.

    Then Next thing I know when I rebooted, I got the error "Windows Not Genuine" ?

    Found out the REAL TROUBLE, MALWARE Infected! big time, it's infecting programs right and left,
    causing windows programs,commands to be infected. Think going to have to re install ?

    Hi and welcome to SevenForums,
    You can get installation media using Chrome and this process
    Download Windows 7 and 8.1 ISO Images from Microsoft - gHacks Tech News

    Although you might be better off getting the recovery media from Dell so the install self activates and you get media too for the future.

    Then once you install just follow this process
    Reinstalled twice, but Windows still won't update

    I dont think a re-install is neccvessary.
    Download run Malwarebytes free
    Do an on line scan with Eset, (dissable your current AntiVirus)

    To clear the non genuine
    D/L and run KB971033, then rerun the Mgadiag.
