Don't use the computer while updating.

The update "might" need to be excluded install all of the updates to begin with.

Hi,

Am using my 1st Android cell, and not the computer.

To exclude, go through the list and if I find it to un check it...correct?

Thanks.

Yes but don't worry about doing it unless you get error installing all 162 at the same time.

Would you recommend splitting them.....security updates etc and frameworks separately?

Thanks!

Hell I don't even know what the heck those are
I use this,

HashCheck Shell Extension

And it generates it right in the properties window,

Attachment 385901

Then check this site for the numbers,

https://msdn.microsoft.com/subscript...loads/hh442898

Attachment 385904

And see if they match,

Attachment 385903

You can see the SHA matches so the download wasn't corrupted.
May I ask how do you use Hash shell Extension....?

I used 7zip........

I did install it but how does it actually function?

Best regards!
It works just like the one in 7-zip, but it does it right in the properties window of the file, it just adds it's own tab to the properties window,

when you click on it's tab, it starts calculating just like 7-zip does in a separate window.

Either one will work, I just usually use the one in the properties window. I have 7-zip too.

The benefit of the shell extension is you can paste the hash you are trying to match in the bottom and it will let you know if it matches one above.

Like I did in this one,

Compared to 7-zip,

Failing to update?-2016-04-30_19h14_02.png

Which just gives you the hash but you need to compare them separately.

Lets see if the first attempt to load all 162 at once fails first before we alter the way they are installed

Although was able to locate and uncheck KB 3020369 update, but it took 3 attempts to install all 162 windows important updates (using WiFi).

I fail to understand when computer functions fine with WiFi, whats its issue with MS updating?

Wired I feel would be a better to go forward......

Thoughts about this DWR-921 4G LTE Router | D-Link UK

Thanks again shall keep you updated!

I plan doing a clean flash again since I know it works.........may be fewer issues now?

You didn't reply why am I getting unable to read error using Rufus.....cause of 16 KB cluster size of the W7 iso?

Thanks for explaining....

Hash Check after running creates a SHA file in the properties window.....correct?

How do you place the no in lower check box > Find?

Best regards!

Thanks for sharing your expert thoughts.

Regarding cluster Rufus - Create bootable USB drives the easy way, according to this screenshot bootable usb, cluster size 16 KB, but file system of iso wasn't FAT32 but NTFS......on boot gives an error unable to read data?

Does MS updating with multiple updates needs constant, good connection using WiFi?

Best regards!

The device should have been formatted as ntfs not Fat32.
