Hi must be asleep.

Not good news, despite all recommendations (hid ie11, unchecked KB3020369, ie10) it was worse than WiFi.....got only 90 installed vs 130 with WiFi........72 failed.

Attaching screen shots Installed updates (100 in total) for your expert views.

After you post your thoughts........do you think I should try Derek's method....

1. IE11 from download page.

2. Than .NET updates.

3. Lastly all other

Hoping to hear your thoughts once you wake up.

Thanks again.

Best regards!

Cripes
Well Derek sort of refers to the default install of updates which would already include ie11
Not sure that would include a net framework but you've already tried the default updating after a clean install which has failed too.

The only thing I would do now is break the updates up into a lot smaller groups
Starting as usual with manually installing the 2 from usb or cd then activating windows,

But this time start with the bottom 25 updates at a time and install them,
Then repeat the next bottom 25 updates until you get them all installed.

Good early morning,

And, again hiding ie11 and uncheck KB3020369, from the beginning.........correct?

25 bunches from bottom and go up..........ill give it one last shot.

Thanks.

No need to hide ie11 it will be near the top of the list

I suppose you could start from the top down but this is the first one to fail that I can tell
https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/3078601
And it was a domino effect after that,
This one also states this on it

Bottom line as recommended by you, starting from bottom in 25 bunches.

But why won't I need to hide ie11 and KB3020369?

Thanks.

No just once you get to this one KB3020369 make sure it loads by it's self is all
No need to hide ie11 as I said it's on the top of the updates list you're starting from the bottom of the list.
