Dodgy Updates

Hi to the forum

firstly thank you for the heads-up and posting advice.thankfully so far i am not having problems per-se except since i restored my computer to factory settings a short time ago i am bombarded with updates.i changed my settings to: check for updates but let me decide etc.in spite of all that some updates appear to have been snuck in.what i want to know is do you guys have a "do not install" list or similar because i really dont see how i can need 200 plus updates.as ever i rely on your expertise because i would not hijack anybody's post.all problems are relevant.

Because you did a factory reset you could very easily need 200 + Windows 7 Updates.

At the present time my system has 232 Windows 7 Updates installed.

Another will have to give you the do not install list you request.

Has a Dodgy CD Messed up my PC?
Hi, I bought a CD on Ebay of software for 4.75 ( about $7). I looked on the official site and researched the tool; (Theme Buzz - it lets you customize any Wordpress theme) and found out anyone who buys it for $37 can give it away or resell it for whatever they want, so I thought it was legit. ...

I received this update today, anyone have any ideas as to what it is? I've googled the name and not a lot of info is about. Some peeps are even saying it's a virus (unlikely, i hope!) Sonix - Streaming Media and Broadcast - YooStar Camera
