Windows10 Self Installing! Cant Stop It. I Select Decline It Loops!

Please help me or point me to it.

I have a home security system on Win7 and not setup to auto update.

I come home and there is the Blue Win10 Accept or decline. I select decline and it boot loops right back to it.

How can I reverse it?

Thanks,

Here you go.
I do a Next in 1 because its the only thing that will respond
I do a Decline in 2, back is useless.
And a decline in 3.
And it just boots again right back.

Like I said, updates configured to Ask me and I'll decide. I come home and find this going on.

Thanks

Hi,
Did you ever schedule the upgrade or reserve ?

Restoring a system image would be a nice option to have right about now.

No schedule, no image. I put my Win7 disc in and booted to it and got to a command prompt and see my files in the dir. But I cannot get it to boot.

Hi,
Have you been just clicking close on the win-10 upgrade messages ?
Don't click the x if you have the new win10 popup

I always do what ever it takes to opt out.

So there is no known reversal? I guess I just reinstall my Win7 ?

Hi,
This was just released
https://blogs.technet.microsoft.com/...ows-7-and-8-1/

Or you can go through the old method
Reinstalled twice, but Windows still won't update

Either way if you don't want 10 I'd avoid these updates

And start using system images

Thanks Guys, Please hang in here with me as I need some clarification.

I am in a spin between what route to take between the suggestions and links in your replies.

Let me tell you whats going on so far and maybe you can come up with a single path for me.

This is a PC I use solely for a home video security system that stores them online and sends clips to my email.

OK, I put the Win7 DVD in and let her boot and did an install. During which when it asks me where to install I seen a 450MB partition along with my C:\. It would not let me delete it. I tried and it shaded it out and that was it.

So I moved on and did the install and on the next boot I get a screen with OS choices Win7 and Win10 ??!!??. I barley caught it because it was a blink before it continued not giving me a chance. It loaded Win7.

After it booted up I went to computer management to try and delete or reallocate and it will not let me.
Also this install did not format my HDD.

So I think I need to do it again with your help but the confusing part is choosing between what to do after the install as far as the final series update suggestion in previous replies.

I guess I need a bucket list?

Thanks,

I work evening shifts so my replies will be coming back accordingly.
