    unable to update office 2010

After a number of actions my Update is working fine for Windows updates (W7 Home P). But it will NOT include M-soft products. There is NO (expected) option in the Update program to enable such actions and the link to read more about the subject brings me to a webpage simply explaining how to open Update i.e. the circle closes. I know that browser choice may be crucial so I use IE11 as my standard in these attempts. I have set the office applications to upgrade with no effect. Looking for office upgrades from within Word brings me back to the webpage suggesting Update. So I find NO way to instruct the Update program to look for office updates.

    Hello totte, :)

You should have a Give me updates for Microsoft products and check for optional Microsoft Software when I update Windows box to check in your Windows Update settings that would include Office updates.

As my original post states, no such option exists in my Update version. Which is exactly why the Q is raised. Suggested solutions to the problems seem to assume that Update and/or Word etc have options that do not exist in my versions.

My Update Agent version is the latest available from Msoft Support. I use a 64bit version in a 64 bit W7 Home Premium.

Can you post a screenshot of your Windows Updates screen, on the "Change Settings" tab to see what options you have?
