Updates pack is endelessly searching for july updates!!

    Updates pack is endelessly searching for july updates!!


    I have no updates for this monthe it keeps searching for it endlesslu. After several attempts to fix it such as sfc/scannow and microsoft readiness toll I have no results at all!! Who can help me out about this issue!! Thanks any way!!!

    I already run sfc/scannow and have no corrupted file at all and microsoft readiness tool keeps looking for updates endelessly, I also run chkdsk whick is ok. whatelse can I try!!! Thanks!!!

    You can check if these are installed:

    KB3138612
    KB3161664
    KB3145739
    KB3078601
    KB3164033
    KB3109094
    KB3168965

    If not: Install them one at a time by downloading the standalone installer for each.

    For each missing update:

    Stop WU service before installation and disconnect from internet. Then configure WU settings:

    Start > Control Panel > System and Security > Windows Update > Change settings > "Never check for updates"

    Install one update. Reboot.

    Then do the same again for every update - install in the order listed above.

    Let us know if it works.

    After the final reboot reconfigure WU Settings to "Notify but not auto-download"

    kb3138612 intalled 8/3/16

    KB3161664 intalled 6/14/16

    KB3145739 intalled 4/12/2016

    KB3078601 intalled 8/12/2015

    KB3164033 intalled 06/14/2016

    KB3109094 installed 12/08/2015

    KB3168965 not installed then I did what you told me about and installed it

    What is the next step so!!!

    Should I follow this steps from now on to acomplish updates??????????

    Now windows updates seems to be working fine by now!!!!Thanks!!!
