Endless checking for Updates ! 8024402F , dt000 , 8008005 , 8024402C

This problem is not for the faint of heart or beginners !
All started in mid March when I moved few blocks away, my last update is few days before I moved.
Tried to fix it last spring could not, so I dropped it, had other tower with Win10 so it was not urgent.
Ever since March every time I want to update this tower I get "Checking for updates..." with green bar slowly moving from left to right.
This is what I did so far last two weeks :
Started simple with onboard updates fixer, did not found anything.
Then simple "start updates stop updates " command prompt, no change.
Then "Windows services" start - stop.
Then "Elevated Level Command Prompt Full Resetting of Updates " (start-stop) with little packet downloaded from Microsoft with this, for the first time since March I got error code ! 8024402F and dt000.
Then after that once when clicked "check for updates" I got another error 8008005 and another time I got 8024402C.
Then I went to Windows Seven Forums, followed Windows Update Posting Instructions, downloaded (SURT) or Window Update Standalone Updater, runneth it untill computer went to sleep and my Windows Update is still "checking for updates" forever.
Not sure if I should do the point 2 (SFC Scan) next.
