    what out do I copy and paste I run the update and it was successful then I tried the sp 1 update again and it was not.

    The SURT log (for that KB) will be in the same place as the CBS.
    It wont be very big.

    well when I told my Son , about the bios issue in the laptop . He was upset and concerned
    so he called the person he bought it from and took it back.

    So I guess good news for us...we dont have to search for a fix for that computer (for my grandson)

    Thanks for all you help it was great

    BTW I am a retired teacher 62 yrs young and I do tutoring and fix seniors computers because
    they are on fixed incomes and need help. Keeps me busy and i enjoy it. But these windows 7
    update issues are getting more and more troublesome.
