win 7 service pack 1 install error 8024800d

I am tried many of the fixes for this error but I cannot get
sp 1 install on my fresh install of win 7

    I always get error 8024800d

    the standalone installer fails
it tries to use the windows updater and fails

I dont know what else to try

    sfc /scannow had no errors
    hat fine
and I ran the update readiness download
so I am attaching a copy of cbs.zip

I hope someone can help me

How about starting with media that already has sp1 on it
    https://www.heidoc.net/joomla/techno...-download-tool

that is a great idea but, this is a used computer
that was given to my grandson and the bios is
locked with some unknown password so I can't
go into the bios to change the boot order and
I cannot get it to boot a dvd or a usb flashdrive

it is an acer aspire 5532

So I used the recovery to do a clean install of win 7 and
for the first time in a long time i have the updates working
BUT it will not install sp1

    Lookin at those logs
Your Install media is way corrupt, as well as reporting access denied errors which is stopping the SP1 install.
please run this tool, copy/paste the output please.

Thank you for the manual for the Acer

I found where to change the boot order BUT again I am stopped because it was
never enabled in the bios and I cant get into the bios because it is passworded

I am very grateful for your help I am still hoping we can get this solved

    Hi Julie,
    read pages 33 onward.

As you cant copy this could get a bit tricky
    can you
open notepad leave it on your desktop.
now find and open your CBSlog (c>windows>logs>cbs>text document)
    once open
click on Edit (top left) then Find >> error (copy/paste entries into the open notepad)
save results, attach in next post.

    Hi Julie,
Not a lot of clues in that.
Can you run this (SURT), copy/paste the output.
