Hello SpeedDial,

No, you do not have to. It's just to let you know that there is a new optional driver version update. If you do not want to install it, then you can hide it to not see it anymore in Windows Update. However, you might give it a try since it is a new version that may help improve your graphic card's performance. If not, you can always rollback to the previous driver version.

I'd go for the manufacturer's site and use driver sweeper on the old one. You can use the guide in my sig.

is there a difference between the driver that downloaded in Windows update and manufacturer's site? now reading your tutorial. tnx

Hi, Yes, try and get the one from the manufacturer, it will work better.

thanks a lot guys. i followed Frostmourne tutorial and works great. i have now the Nvidia Control Panel which i cant find in my previous driver. thanks
