KB972270 Black Screen

Hello,

When I updated my computer from Windows Update, when my computer restarted, after the Windows Logo, my screen would just sit black with the mouse cursor on the screen. The mouse worked fine and the cursor did, but it was just on a black screen.

I had to go in safe mode to system restore, which fixed it.

But now the computer wants to update to it again... should I download it and see if it does it again?

It is a security update. My a backup first. You can either download it or hide it so it never gets downloaded. read here ITsVISTA KB-Link: KB972270 | ITsVISTA
