    Windows 7 (Genuine Key) Problems

I have windows vista installed on C drive and on the other partition I have windows 7 installed and from time to time the windows genuine software thing pops up even though I have activated it before. I have several keys from windows 7 RC free download(personally mine). I have activated several times now.

The other annoying problem is I have ran windows update several times and everytime it either installs it or fails and rarely if it manages to install both the important updates, I will restart as it requests me to do but then windows update pops up again with the same two updates. This is really annoying. Is there a way to get rid of this?

Are you still running the RC or are you trying to activate the RTM version with the RC keys?

    RC version of course.

this whole mess is due to not being able to install windows 7 32-bit on C drive as this laptop is somehow equipped for 64-bit os only(WTF!!!). windows 7 is intalled on another partition I created. if this is dell's work then dell is the crappiest company and I won't ever buy from them again. there shouldn't be limitations to install 32-bit on a more powerful processor/hardware. I don't know if it is MS or Dell in either case, this is so annoying.

your dell should not be tied to either 32bit or 64bit software, the disc you have must only be for the 64bit version where did you get the os from?

i understood that the rc versions of win7 are due to expire from march to june 2010 after which you`ll need to purchase i still have one rc system running with no problems. YET one thing that is puzzling though is that the display "EVALUATION BUILD " which was displayed at the bottom right is no longer there. any ideas anyone?
