ive had the exact same thing but i bit the bullet and did a fresh install, luckily i have 2 seperate harddrives that i do backups too so it wasnt to bad, this is very poor of microsoft to allow it to happen through a security update of all things! (shakes head in disgust)
does anyone know if there is a fix for this update bug at all??? im very loath to install another update for a while untill i know for sure??
if you have Windows 7, do a full image backup of system drive, just in case
yes i have now, just wish i did before hand but i didnt loose anything important so its not all bad! just hope this gets a fix asap before i use any more updates? ive turned off automatic updates for a while just untill i know for sure its fixed?
