External Drive doesn't work after latest updates
I just installed the latest updates for win 7 and after restarting my external HDD doesn't get recognised.
This is the Error in device manager:
"Windows has stopped this device because it has reported problems. (Code 43)"
Any ideas on what to do?

I reinstalled my chipset drivers and now my WD Elements is recognised and works.
I don't know how this happened but sure it had something to do with these last lot of updates.

If you have the chance, could you post the latest updates your computer installed before the external stopped working. * i know you fixed it, it's simply for documentation purposes. No worries if you can't. | | My System Specs | | |

Quite a number of users are experiencing problems with windows 7 "february" updates lately?  Weird. I got 7 updates yesterday. All installed successfully, no errors at all. | | My System Specs | | System Manufacturer/Model Number D3f's Customs
