    Manually Update?

Does Microsoft host a site in which I can manually download and update my windows 7?

Everytime I click on their update site I get this! But I dont want to use my control panel!

If you know of an update you wish to install you can search by KB number for the manual installation file...

Or you can setup a WSUS server and manage them all centrally

    Go to this website.

    Microsoft Update Catalog

In the search bar with the blinking browser, type "Windows 7" (without the quotes) (Your OS may also be detected automatically).

In the catalog that comes up, you can choose the updates you want to download, and add them to the basket. Click on the basket and you’ll see a download button on the same side. Click Download and a new window will appear where you can download those files

Looks useful, thanks Bill. Shame about the caveat:
To use this Web site's full functionality, you must be running Microsoft Internet Explorer 6.0 or later.

LOLs. Loving the way if you view it on IE 9, the arrow helpfully points to be "bar" at the top, and then the message asking to "Install the Control" appears at the bottom!
