Windows 7: Windows activation

Good day all,
Need your help,,,

After installing Windows7 ... Check on ALL CONTROL PANEL to see the remaining days countdown! In fact this part was disappeared! doesn't show! blank!

1/Why is that?
2/How to re active or get that part back?

I would like to see the countdown days at that part,, which will also allow me to active or change key but am currently not able!!

open your start menu, right-click COMPUTER and choose PROPERTIES.

Under WINDOWS ACTIVATION, what do you have?

if you see what I've attached, Windows is activated and genuine and there is no "countdown".

Dear jelyman ... the part which says Windows Activation is not there! not even Genuine or countdown .. blank white page at that area!

How i can get this back ... at least i can see remaining days or should show Genuine?

If you have a retail copy of Windows 7, then can do a repair install to fix this.

Doesn't work ,,, the issue is that the DVD Windows7 which i`v got from a friend of me, after installation completed it ask you to remove WAT and there will be no other option only to click on remove WAT ... guess for that reason the part or dialog which suppose to show the Windows activation at the right-click Computer doesn't show "blank" and my request or question is how i can get this part back to normal ... to see the remaining days which to active the copy of windows or at least show the Genuine logo??

If you are getting an option to remove WAT (Windows Activation Technology), then it sounds like this is a modified pirated version of Windows 7. If so, then you will need to purchase a legal copy of Windows 7 with a legal product key number included with it to activate Windows 7.

We do not suppot illegal software here.

Guess you are 100% right,,, therefore i will YES get the original product along withe key to active my Windows7
