KMS Activation of Win7 in Domain

Hello guys! I'm in the need of some assistance.

We currently run WinXP clients and are moving to Windows 7. One of my sticking points is getting Windows 7 to activate. During testing we used our MAK keys to activate but with the production rollout that's just not feasible. So, we'd like to use KMS activation however, I cannot get it configured and I don't know why.

I'd like to setup one of my 2008 R2 servers as my KMS host for both Server and Windows 7. I got the server to accept the 2008 R2 KMS key but it wouldn't take the Windows 7 key as well. MS Technet reads like I should be able to do this but maybe I'm mistaken.

I do have over the 25 minimum required, some MAK some KMS already. If I need to have 25+ KMS clients, I can easily convert them over but I can't figure out how to make my server a KMS Host for Windows 7.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!! Thanks!
