    Unable to Update error 800b0100

    Hi there,
I am currently running Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit.
I have found myself unable to update with the following updates:
    KB980232
    KB981332

I have already run sfc /scannow and Readiness Tool - but with no luck.
    I am attaching CheckSur.log and sfcdetails.txt.

    Help would be greatly appreciated.

    2 Things I found.

    1) If you have Antivirus software installed uninstall it and get all the window updates. Then re-install antivirus software.

    2) 800B0100 Windows Vista Error

Guys, I have a problem with my Windows Update, I turned the automatic on.. When I shut down nor restart my computer, the update setting shows up saying installing update 1 of 2 or how many updates are there, my issue here is, it stops at 1, it doesn't move even if I leave it for 3-8 hours, the worst update that I had was a month ago when I had 1 of 12 update then I left it for 8 hours, when I came home it's still 1 of 12...

I'm using Windows 7 Professional with 2GB Ram.

    Thanks.

    1) At the command prompt, copy and then paste (or type) the following command.

    regsvr32 Wintrust.dll /s

Close the Command Prompt window. Try to install the updates again.

    2) Turn off your firewall and any download accelerator, then try updating again.

    3) If nothing works, try downloading the 2 updates manually from the Microsoft download site, save on your hard disk, then install by double clicking on them.

Thank you Bill2 - Only downloading and installing the 2 updates manually actually solved my problem.

    Problem resolved.
