No those keys are not supposed to be sold, that's why they will get blacklisted.

I have a feeling this is like one of those times where you tell someone don't touch that, it is hot, and they touch it anyway just to see. After the first three or four posts telling him to stay away, it is almost as if he was hoping somewhere along the thread, you all might change and say it was ok to buy the keys. Like my dad used to say, "if you see a house on fire, and you go and get burned, whose fault is it?" Once again, my friend, stay away from those ebay keys!!!

    try this:

email the guy stating you need to contact Microsoft about the order then see how fast the listing goes away

I read about alot of situations where MS have started blocking MSDN/TechNet Keys...most of them were purchased off some of the internet sites.....more worrying for users of these internet shopping sites.. is reading about how windows 7 disks have been manufactured and sold with MSDN keys attached to the certificate...

Scary stuff I think.....especially if MS makes huge changes to the MSDN/TechNet programs or god forbid do away with it completely

I do not think there is any need for worry. I do not think that the sites will be come a thing of the past, they will survive until MS finds a way to avoid the problem and changes the method of distribution, or increase security. Purchses who buy from legit sources without trying to get a deal to good to be true will not have problems.

I am surprised the key's on E-bay have not been removed, I tried to sell a legit copy and they removed my auction. Well any way i have four systems and i have a Technet Subscription because of cost and being a beta MS tester it came to me at a good price and if i had to buy the software on these 4 systems it would cost me $1000.00's of dollars were as the Technet is X amount of dollars. I have read the licenseing agreement and it states that a key can be transfered to a third part but can only be on one system at a time, selling them is a very grey area, but some people are doing it and will they get caught could be or they may be safe if they do not get greedy.
