My PC is booting much faster now

My PC is booting very fast seemingly after a Windows update. I boot to desktop in thirty seconds fifteen of that is Bios. Previously I was near 90 seconds.

Isn't it nice when the new OS (win 7) is as good as it is advertised. :)

I see guys here would defend Windows 7 credibility well. I personally encountered a few bugs on Windows 7 such as the black log on screen where there is nothing except the black screen and a white cursor but went back to normal after a reboot.

It could be a virus for goodness' sake. If you have been downloading stuff illegally through torrents or Limewire, those are the consequences and do not blame the OS for that.

Note: The only thing that I allowed to happen was a windows update which happened when I shut the system down.
Then logic would dictate that it was the result of an update.

Does it happen every boot now?

I updated a few at a time and event viewer wouldn't tell me which was the one that did the do. The first few times I thought I was just waking the PC up from sleep till I realized that I was actually booting all the way up.
