Solved my problem

I'm not sure if I'm posting correctly and hope I'm not violating any rules - but I wanted to share how I was able to fix my window update problem with everyone - so that if anyone else has this problem it could help them (smile)!
I couldn't update and a virus or the removal of it must have corrupted my windows update feature - I found this fix it on Microsoft (after spending two days trying everything else - lol) and it fixed it! Here is the link to the microsoft page!

I hope this will help someone else!

Best Wishes,
Tammy

Audio Problem solved
Like other posters who have audio problems with Windows 7, as a last resort before Microsoft puts out a workable driver for onboard Realtek sound card, I uninstalled the version (6.0XXXXX ?) that came with Windows 7 and installed the 25/4/2005 version (5.10.0.5125) that came with my Asus P5LD2...
