Windows 7 slowdown after new updates installed

My friends and I have the same problem...I have Win 7 for about a year, and never had any problems with updates, until now..after all updates installed, the cpu will get really hot, cooler will work non stop, even if I'm doing nothing in windows, and computer will get really slow..sometimes even when I click on start, it will be very slowly displayed. My friends have a single core, and same problem...everything is fine until they install updates...then computer start to hang, and is really slow. Now I'm using Win 7 without any new installed updates, and everything is fine...what update is causing the problem ? Does anybody have similar experience ? I never had similar problems earlier, nor with Win 7, nor with Vista and so on...

Install the updates one at at time to determine the culprit. If the problem one is not important, just, uninstall and then hide it, do not install again.
