[QUOTE=Nizz;876831]Something wrong happend with MSI programs Maybe this one help you Description of the Patch Registration Cleanup Tool
It's more sophisticated tool than I thought. It doesn't work automatically
You have to know application GUID to have able to remove something...
But what about this one ? How to fix MSI software update registration corruption issues
This worked for the silverlight problem.
Finally, I did a little registry look. Opened up registry(after backup!) did a search for "silverlight.msi" and found it in the following key:
HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT / installer / products / D7314F9862C648A4DB8BE2A5B47BE100
I deleted that key, and also deleted all silverlight folders in programData and program files
restarted, started the silverlight.exe. It installed with no problem and it works! Finally.
After that install silverlight 4 from the link below.
Microsoft Silverlight
Source: Error code 643 on update failure (Microsoft Silverlight KB979202)
I would love to have said that it worked... but it didnt... im sorry...
[QUOTE=Nizz;882559]The best solution in this case is uninstall Office and reinstall it.If you have problem with uninstalling it through "Programs and Features" then use this special uninstaller for Office
How do I uninstall the 2007 Office suites if I cannot uninstall it by using the "Add or Remove Programs" feature?
