Stuck on Configuring Windows Updates

    Stuck on Configuring Windows Updates


    Hello Everyone.

    I did a clean install of Windows 7 Ultimate x64

    after installed 33 updates, pressed restart after the updates installed

    now im stuck on configuring windows updates at 15%

    it wont progress any further, what can I do to fix this? please help!

    Turn off computer and wait a while and turn it on again - sometimes it work -if not,you have to boot in safe mode and restore system,if unable to boot in safe mode too you have to boot installation disc and from this level restore system

    I just did a clean install and installed all the updates, and it still gets stuck at 15% on the welcome screen of configuring windows updates. please help

    That means you have any problem with hardware compatbility.The best solution in my opinion would be contact with manufacturer support in this case.

    Did everything work fine prior to doing the updates?

    yes, everything worked prior to the updates.

    but as soon as I install the updates, It gets stuck at 15% no matter what update it is.

    Then start with the MB manufacturer and look for bios and driver updates. Additionally you could call their tech support to see if they have reported issues with Win7.

    Sorry I don't understand. "gets stuck at 15% no matter what update it is". You're surely not doing updates one at time are you?
