Latest Microsoft Updates messed up Scrolling

Hello guys, I was hoping you could give me some help.

Today my computer let me know I had to perform some updates, so I left it installing those updates since I knew it would shut down after.

I come home from work, and now whenever I use the scroll wheel to use smooth scrolling (clicking the scroll wheel) it is incredibly laggy in certain websites, it will not move at all unless I keep moving the mouse, but that is not how it should work. This only happens in ''intensive'' sites and when a video is running the video will stop until I stop trying to smooth scroll.

The only difference from happening minutes before the updates and right now... are the updates.

I don't know which ones were installed, so I guess bad me for not keeping track of that, but is it even normal?

    Thanks for your time.

Okay, just found out what the issue might be, and it's incredibly stupid.

Whenever I zoom in a page with firefox just one value higher than the default zoom, scrolling will be incredibly laggy, but if I go back to default zoom it's fine again.

This is incredibly stupid to be affected by a windows update, but this did NOT happen before.

You didn't say what version FF you're using, but one person said this:

disable the hardware acceleration option from the same settings option block(Settings->Advanced->Browsing), then it works normal as it should. This happends on Win7, Firefox 13.0.1
[FIXED] Firefox 13 new default smooth scrolling leads to very slow grid scrolling

I apologize, I'm using FF 20 beta, just didn't think it was relevant because the only change was a windows update.
Been using this version of FF for 4 months without problems.
