Windows update failed 8007371b and more

I am currently trying to update windows and have recieved that error and others 8007643 800736b..It says all in all 24 updates failed...I have read a previous post about this that never seemed to have a complete answer. i am currently running system update readiness tool for windows 7 64 bit Download details: System Update Readiness Tool for Windows 7 for x64-based Systems (KB947821) [November 2010]... I have windows 7 64, 6gb ram , 1tb hd, asus cm 5675 with a southbridge h55 chipset. Any help to these errors would be greatly appreciated. I had also run the fix it tool windows recomends but to no avail. Thanks in advance
