    History Status: FAILED

I recently had to restore my home PC to its original settings and noticed a lot of my updates FAILED to download successfully.

Is there anyway for me to fix them ALL at once or should I get my computer serviced by Microsoft tech?

I've tried to redownload a hand full of them and I get an error response that it’s not compatible to my PC.

    Thanks,

Pleasefollow the WindowsUpdate Posting Instructions and post the requested data

If the file is too large (8MBcompressed), remove the older CBSPersist cab files until the final file isbelow the limit - you can always post them separately after zipping them. (theforum doesn't allow the upload of bare CAB files, for a number of reasons)

Sorry, I’m not that good on the computer. Could you please be more specific?

This tutorial will explain how to get into the cmd prompt as admin. It's located in the tutorial that Noel gave you. Take your time and read the tutorial a couple of times. Believe me it is all in there.

    Elevated Command Prompt

    Try this.

    Start Orb and type cmd.
At the top you will see cmd.
Right tick on it and select Run as administrator.Copy and past this in the the cmd box and hit enter.

    sfc /scannow

When sfc is done follow Noel post and post the result.
