You gotta be careful with the boot disks---they aren't worth a damn if they won't boot and access your partitions and images and you can't tell if they will without a test.

Roger that. When I first started doing this I acquired quite a collection of "coasters" from working with and trying out different boot discs. Once I became more familiar with Knoppix things were MUCH better. I have also found that "Live" Windows XP is quite nice as well.

What is on the first partition? Unhide Hidden and System files at Control Panel>Folder Options>View then in Disk Mgmt rightclick to Explore. Or issue it a letter and use Explorer to post back a screenshot. If it isn't needed you can use that space to Resize 100mb and even add some back to C if you want.

If not, save up a Win7 backup image and a set of User files: Backup Complete Computer - Create an Image Backup

Download ISO, write to CD and boot free Partition Wizard bootable CD, rightclick c to Resize, slide left grey border to right to make extra space you want added to SysReserved partition, OK.

Next rightclick SysReserved partition to Resize, slide right grey border to the right to take up the space you made, OK, Apply all steps.

If Win7 fails to boot, boot back into PW CD, click on Win7 HD to highlight, from Disk tab select Rebuild MBR, Apply. Reboot, if Win7 fails to boot, boot Win7 DVD or REpair CD to run Startup Repair 3 Separate Times until Win7 boots on its own. System Repair Disc - Create

I just see that partition right now lol. But i cant explore it:

Should i remove it? will it damage my pc or w/e?

Did you follow the exact steps I gave you to Explore it? Try using Partition Wizard installed version and then PW CD to explore it.

Or skip to the steps to Resize C to Extend 100mb into it.

Good news.

The first partition may be your Recovery if you have preinstalled Windows. If so make sure you make your Recovery Disks. You can even try tapping the key given for Recovery on first boot screen to see if it cues up factory Recovery.

If not, then it may be a tools partition which stores the Diagnostics or other factory utility files. If you tell us your make/model we can help sort this out because without the need for any of those you can eventually recover the space.

The first partition is Recovery. I got a Asus A72jk Windows 7 home premium, but i reinstalled it to Windows 7 professional

If you reinstalled Win7 from the disk instead of just unlocking the extra Pro features using ANytime Upgrade, it may have overwritten your Asus Recovery Partition.

Try booting it now to see if it will cue up to run Recovery, tapping the F8 key at boot, then checking for Recovery on Advanced Boot options menu, likely under Repair My Computer.

Did you make your Recovery disks earlier before upgrading to Pro? You might want to restore to Home Premium at some time in the future to migrate the Pro key to elsewhere.
