    Problem getting "restore system" to work


    I have problems trying to get it work..
    when i boot and press F8, i see "restore system"
    but when i select it and hit enter, nothing happens, and windows7 just starts as normal.. what to do? :s

    If you want system restore, type system restore in search and follow instructions.

    Are you referring to Repair My Computer (WinRE) on the F8 Advanced Boot Tools menu?

    What is the exact choice you are highlighting to choose?

Hi Everyone! So i want to restore the computer to a restore point that is about 2 weeks ago and it writes something like "Prepairing to restore your system..." and nothing happens... what can i do? (ive waited few hours and nothing happens...)

When does System Restore delete "old" System Restore Points? A few days ago, there were 3-4 SR points in the list. Today there is only 1. Nothing significant has changed on the system.
As in title. I have an issue where the PC boots up fine, then after I log on the PC hangs up on the loading screen. I system restored from safe mode, and the issue was fixed. Two days later, the issue recurred. Again system restore fixed the problem. Any ideas how to fix it permanently? I did not...
