Can't create "System Restore Disk" ?

From Backup and Restore in Control panel...I get the errors in the jpg attached ? The drive is working and I can add and delete files at random to the D: drive. Currently I'm using regular CD's...not a DVD disk.

    Thanks....TR

Could it be you dvd burner having issues? try updating the dvd drives firmware

You could try backing it up on an external drive or network drive.

If that is not an option you could download a pre-made iso of a repair disc

Seems like your drive lost the ability to write CDs..pop in a DVD +R and try again or change to a different CD brand (provided your DVD drive can handle CDs)

    System Repair Disc - Create

Type CMD in start search box, rightclick result to Run as Admin, type: sfc /scannow to check system files.

Google the exact error message text to find how others have solved it. This is how you troubleshoot these.
